Our History...

Awestruck Ministries, Inc. is the brainchild of Byron and Bridget Cobb. This ministry was formulated in response to a divine call to evangelize within the island nation of Haiti located in the West Indies in the fall of 1999. Over the course of several years and with the help of many friends the seed of Awestruck Ministries began to flourish and grow. While evangelization in Haiti remains at the core of our endeavors Awestruck is very busy providing for the greater Bride of Christ both at home and abroad.

After several years of leaping over many hurdles Awestruck Ministries (hereafter referred to as ASM) was finally granted our 501(C) (3) status by the IRS which made it possible to receive contributions. We also obtained our status as a Nonprofit Corporation with the state of Florida. Simultaneously, we were busy at work on the foreign field of Haiti. From the very beginning we forged strong bonds and began combining forces with Living Hope Ministries (LHM) centered in Cap Haitian, Haiti and the International Mission Board (IMB) centered out of Richmond, Virginia USA. The results and the return on time and dollars spent have been nothing short of phenomenal.

ASM has been blessed to have been a part of "fresh water projects in the Haitian town of Hinche, music camps in the city of Le Cayes, orphanage work in Port Au Prince, annual pastoral conferences, vacation Bible schools, medical trips in greater Cap Haitian and evangelistic crusades in several regions of the island. Further ASM has served as a catalyst for vehicle donations, school and church construction projects and through the course of it all we have blanketed the island of Haiti with tens of thousands of Bibles and Christian tracks.
